A vanished father. A pill-popping mother. Three sisters harboring shady little secrets. When the large Weston family unexpectedly reunites after Dad disappears, their Oklahoman family homestead explodes in a maelstrom of repressed truths and unsettling secrets. Mix in Violet, the drugged-up, scathingly acidic matriarch, and you’ve got a major new play that unflinchingly—and uproariously—exposes the dark side of the Midwestern American family. Winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award.
“In Tracy Letts’ ferociously entertaining play, the American dysfunctional family drama comes roaring into the twenty-first century with eyes blazing, nostrils flaring and fangs bared, laced with corrosive humor so darkly delicious and ghastly that you’re squirming in your seat even as you’re doubled-over laughing.” ~ Variety

ALTAR BOYZ is a foot-stomping, rafter-raising, musical comedy about a fictitious Christian boy-band on the last night of their national ‘Raise the Praise’ tour. The Boyz are five all-singing, all-dancing heartthrobs from Ohio: Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan and Abraham. With their tight harmonies and spectacular choreography, the ALTAR BOYZ will delight audiences. As they perform their signature hits such as ‘Rhythm In Me,’ ‘The Calling,’ and ‘I Believe,’ the Boyz question their loyalty to each other and ask whether or not faith is really holding them together. They finally deliver a message of unity, that ‘there is no star as bright as its constellation, no harmony in a single voice.’
“Divine! A 90- minute tornado of tasty pop tunes and nifty moves.” – Star Ledger
“Hilarious! This Sweet and sassy, witty and completely unpretentious show sends everybody out on a cloud of mirth – and we mean everybody! There’s not a soul in the theatre that isn’t captured. Finally, a show to unite the country!” – Journal News

Bruce and Prudence are deeply into therapy. Prudence’s macho therapist is urging her to be more assertive while Bruce’s wacky female therapist wants him to meet women by placing a personal ad. She does not fully comprehend that Bruce has a male lover who is not pleased by Bruce’s desire to date a woman: Prudence. Bruce doesn’t know how to handle poor nervous Prudence and Prudence doesn’t know what to make of her unpredictable new boyfriend. They do learn to live beyond therapy in this delightful Off Broadway hit that moved successfully to Broadway.
“Filled with off beat laugh lines, wry observations on the contemporary urban psyche and situations that range from farcical to absurd.” -Women’s Wear Daily
